People who actually own the consoles have every right to complain about this sort of thing, how dare you suggest otherwise.
Another one for KSR.
Other than that I've been playing/replaying some of the Metal Gear games after Ground Zeroes, and will continue that into April.
Pleased to hear this from Spencer, gives me more faith that the Xbox One will replicate the super Japanese support the 360 got (and the Xbox, actually).
Even if the system doesn't catch on in Japan there's still a big audience for those games in other places and I look forward to announcements.
Good stuff, great to see Xbox 360 still being supported.
Nice tease.. this would be an awesome announcement..
The problem with Metacritic sites is simply that all critics don't review to an agreed, common set of principles - they don't even use the same scoring scales.
It can still be useful though as a guideline.. but it's quite depressing actually when people quote Metacritic scores like they're some kind of inarguable, final, factual rating.
Crazy. Well done Microsoft.
It wasn't just people from within that install base who bought Kinect, lol.
It's selling well but then look at how Kinect for 360 sold.
Clearly a market for videogames + camera.
Those were just three random titles I plucked out, Dead Rising 3, Ryse, Crimson Dragon if you prefer.
As a sweeping generalisation different regions have different preferences but it's always good to have an option, that's why Xbox One should definitely release into all markets.
Why not? No matter where you live, if you're into videogames, you won't want to miss out on titles like Titanfall, Quantum Break, Halo etc., so I'm sure our Japanese pals don't either.
Worth the wait folks, but you're welcome to join us sooner!
It doesn't matter to me if the games are Kinect or not - Rare make great games, they just need to make MORE games. Where have they been these past few years?!
This seems to be happening more and more, not just with game length but also with concerns about 'on-disc DLC', size of character roster, need for a SP/MP mode regardless of whether it fits the game, etc.
Game has to meet someone's perception of 'value for money' in order to get a good score, rather than just be a good game. Total bull.
wooo, spooky!
Pachter, in a word, says: 'nah'. And unbundled Kinect in 2015 sounds on.
I loved Rare's games last gen, Viva Pinata is one of their all-time great franchises, Nuts & Bolts was uniquely ingenious (8/10s = 'average' scores?) and Kinect Sports is a lot of fun - particularly soccer and athletics.
That brings us to today, or rather this summer, with KSR which looks to build on its predecessors and has already been well-received by those of us who've played wake racing.
My biggest hope for Rare is that they return to...
I'm all for developers being ambitious, but taking success for granted by semi-announcing sequels before the first game is even out just reeks of arrogance.
I don't care how much money they pump into it, it's only after the game is out and we've decided that it's good that it has any 'future'.
This is getting silly, the game isn't even out yet. Same with Bungie talking about a 10-year plan for Destiny - yeah, we'll play the first one and decide if we care, thanks.
Might be something like a new Twisted Pixel game.. seems like a PAX-esque announcement..
